DBB Double Block & Bleed Ball Valve
The DBB (Double Block and Bleed) Isolation Philosophy requires two in-line isolation valves and a bleed valve to safely isolate downstream pipes. This design allows for the safe draining or venting of trapped fluid between the two sealing elements. The feature can be incorporated into a single valve with a bleed port between the obturators.
Double Block and Bleed ball valves are widely used in industries such as offshore oil and gas production, gas and oil terminals, and LNG carriers, providing reliable isolation and enhanced safety in critical applications.
