What is a Tubing Head?

The tubing head is the uppermost spool in a wellhead assembly, providing essential support and sealing for the tubing string. It features a straight-type bowl and a 45-degree load shoulder that securely supports the tubing string through a tubing hanger. The tubing hanger is fixed in place using a full set of lock screws, ensuring stability and safety during operations.

The lower section of the tubing head houses a secondary seal, which isolates the production casing string and allows for testing of the wellhead seals. Depending on the setup, our tubing heads can be threaded or weld-on, allowing direct attachment to the production casing.
